Meridian Dam Preliminary Feasibility Study

Following this study, the Governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan agreed in 2002 that cost estimates of the project outweighed potential benefits.

Public consultations on this dam project took place in:

  • Leader (August 1, 2001)
  • Lethbridge (August 2, 2001)
  • Medicine Hat (July 25, 2001)
  • Saskatoon (July 31, 2001)
