Background
Edmonton's first woman architect, Mary Louise Imrie, donated her open-space home and land along the North Saskatchewan River to the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation in 1988. Currently, the house is the office of the not-for-profit Land Stewardship Centre of Canada.
