Public access to Fish Hatchery and Trout Pond suspended:
Following the confirmation of whirling disease at Johnson Lake in Banff National Park, the fish at the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery are being tested for the disease as a precautionary measure in alignment with our facility’s bio-security protocols. Until the testing has been completed, Bow Habitat Station will be suspending all public access to the Fish Hatchery and Kids Can Catch Trout Pond.
The Discovery Centre remains open to the public for hands-on learning experiences, Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We apologize for any inconvenience these closures may cause and appreciate your understanding.
