PGR Information and Maps

Information and maps that clearly show access routes into provincial grazing reserves (PGRs) are available below.

Access routes and trails provide recreational users and other visitors optimum access to the reserves while minimizing both damage to the grazing lands and conflicts with livestock operations and other users.

There are certain conditions that need to be followed when recreating on PGRs. These conditions can be viewed by using the Recreational Access Mapping tool at:

PGR Pilot Recreational Access Project

All recreational users will be required to obtain written proof of contact before entering the following three PGRs:

  • Connor Creek PGR
  • Jack Pine PGR
  • Rocky Mountain House PGR
