Specified Gas Reporting Regulation

The Specified Gas Reporting Regulation first came into effect in 2004, and requires facilities that emit 50,000 tonnes or more of greenhouse gases to submit annual reports on their emissions. The Specified Gas Reporting Regulation is available through the Alberta Queen’s Printer online catalogue.

The Specified Gas Reporting Standard details who is required to report greenhouse gas emissions and how the information is collected.
